I am a creative designer specialized in graphic, print, web, and advertising design. I am a current member of the AIGA Philadelphia Chapter (formally known as The American Institute of Graphic Arts and now as "the professional association for design") and I adhere to the AIGA Standards of Professional Practice.
I was born in 1984 in State College, Pennsylvania, home to the Pennsylvania State University. My childhood was always surrounded by the arts: oil painting, wood burning, wood carving, and pen and ink. At age 10, I began marketing my work at local craft fairs.
My love for graphic design appeared in 2001, while studying architectural design and graphic design in high school. That same year while enrolled as a junior in high school, I began working at AccuWeather, Inc., in State College as a newspaper graphics artist. This career fueled my desire for graphic design further.
In 2003, I began offering freelance graphic design work for several companies in the State College area.
In 2009, I enrolled in the Advertising Design program at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, taking online classes maintaining a 4.0 GPA. In 2010, I relocated to the Philadelphia metro area to continue building a strong portfolio and clientele while working to complete my bachelors degree in Advertising Design at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
